Our center is here for you. We work hard to be a resource for our community. Have ideas about how we could do that better? Join us!
We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our vision a reality. We'll help you find a way to volunteer that best suits you.
We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you. Thank you for your time and donations that makes this possible!
Through a grant from Energy Outreach Colorado, we provide energy assistance to households experiencing difficulties in meeting energy bills by helping them pay for electricity, gas, propane, and wood pellets. We also help with LEAP applications and energy emergency advocacy.
Our food bank provides a variety of food for all those in need of food assistance. In addition, the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a federal program that provides a supplemental food box to low-income individuals. Senior food boxes (CSFP) are also distributed to those who qualify. We offer delivery to the homebound.
The West End Family Link Center is a proud member of the Family Resource Center Association. We aim to provide a safe, accessible place for families to connect with comprehensive, coordinated services that help them strengthen their families and become more self-reliant. We will be your advocate and friend.
The Link offers crisis intervention as well as resource referrals if we are unable to help locally.
We provide Nurturing Parenting Classes in both a group setting and single family home visits. We also provide the Bright By Three program visits with parents and other caregivers that provide a three-step program to make sure their little ones get the best start at life.
We have various children's programs going on throughout the year such as CATCH, Exploring Foods, free snacks during our Afterschool programs, and lunch during the summer, Monday through Friday. There are also programs that involve entire families, such as Eating Smart and Being Active.
We offer a very popular program called the Toy Lending Library, where totes with toys and children's books are rotated out weekly during home visits. These toys are geared for children 0-5. Some are also participating in our family education programs during that time.
We also offer senior visits, which provide social interaction for those who cannot leave their homes. We also offer support services such as TEFAP & CSFP deliveries.
